Adolescent Empowerment Project (AEP)
Duration : 1 January 2004 - 31 December 2007
Beneficiaries : 6100 poor adolescents
"Adolescents are developed as future empowered human
beings"
Our objective is that adolescents can learn, work and live
in an enabling environment. We want to enable these adolescents
to attend secondary and higher education. However, skill
training will be an integral part of the project because
later, it will provide them a direct opportunity to earn
their own income. On the other hand, the prevention of child
marriages and violence against girls is a core issue. We
believe that raising the awareness of the community is the
key to reach this.
We address
adolescents, especially girls, from selected poor families.
The following components are part of the AEP. The modern
teaching methods of the REFLECT circles have a high reputation
in contemporary development work.
